Client: The Leadership Network and Toyota

The Boardroom is a series which was created to showcase what it really means to be an executive at a global corporation. The format follows a documentary profile style and aims to show the viewer behind the scenes of successful businesses.
The process starts with a phone call to the CEO or MD to be interviewed and the Client. This is a great chance begin feeling for a storyline, to flesh out the tricky conversations and identify the topics less discussed. In this episode, Matthias Fischer alongside his colleagues, talks struggles and limitations on how a Swedish based factory internalised the Japanese Lean Manufacturing model.

We film intensely for 1-2 days and the final cut is edited in approximately 50 hours.

Client: Hemmerle

A social media video created for fine jewellery brand Hemmerle which captures their stall at the PAD London Art + Design fair.

Client: The Leadership Network

I was approached by The Leadership Network to establish a new series of case studies whereby lecturers interview graduated candidates to hear their experiences since completing the training program. This episode features Rowan, a Masterclass leader and two of his attendees, Paul & Sergio who are meeting after two years. The challenge was to transform the boundaries of a case study and deliver its message through an energetic and relevant tone. Throughout the creative process, I knew that the interaction between Rowan, Paul and Sergio had to be authentic and natural. Using Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee as inspiration, I utilised quick cuts, hand held angles and Blue Grass soundtracks to breathe life into an otherwise corporate conversation. The conversation was filmed once, no take two, no repeat again, just pure conversation between three people.

Filmed in 3 hours, edited in 3 days.
